Click on the "Find" button at the top of the forum posts. Do you see "New Since Your Last Visit"? If so, can you click on it and open it up? Also, what browser and version are you using?

I'll check with our forum host about this problem and it will help if I know what you see and you are using to see it.

I'm able to click on "New Since Your Last Visit" and it opens up for me.

To change your notifications, go to "My Space" and choose notifications from the left side menu. You'll see a list of all of the discussions that you are subscribed to and you can turn them off there.

Well thats why it didn't work. I was going to the wrong place.

It always worked for me when I went and hit the little icon right next to Block Central's Quilting Forum at the top of the main page.

Woohoo!! I'm glad that this mystery is solved! I forgot the little icon used to lead to the new posts. It must have changed in the last forum update.

Thank you Pam and Kim - I spent alittle time reading the "Help" the other evening and that helped me alot too. Just never took the time to do things right. I use Microsoft ver. 6.0. Now it seems like I'm receiving the posts - thanks again for the great forum Kim. Dollie

Thank you all for missing me - but although I can post away to my hearts content, I seem to have lost my avatar. No piccy of me. Well, I know the world can cope, but if it is not retreivable I will choose something from the gallery. Otherwise - no complaints. (Except that I am overworked, and not enough quilting hours in a day. Have managed to cut out a baby quilt tonight and start sewing it together, so no real withdrawal symptoms)

Still no pic of me, also when I log on and go to new since your last visit, the link works, but it also brings up stuff I have seen, as if it was not updating each time. Previously, if I had logged on twice in one day, it sometimes said 'no new messages' or something similar.
