Hi Jean!

Love your new avatar! By "galleries on their site", do you mean the links in their signature lines?

If so, you can edit that in the same place as you did the avatar.

My problem has something to do with the UBB Code I think. At the far right of the icons beside the word Message: there is a button with what looks like a great than and lesser than sign separated by a slash. When I click on that button my message area begins to fill up with these same symbols. It is very frustrating to not be able to read over my posts until I post them and then go back and edit the errors or leave them as is.

Any ideas anyone??

Connie

First, and explanation of the UBB Code:

UBB Code is a variation on the HTML tags you may already be familiar with. Basically, it allows you to add functionality or style to your message that would normally require HTML. You can use UBB Code even if HTML is not enabled for the forum you are using. You may want to use UBB Code as opposed to HTML, even if HTML is enabled for your forum, because there is less coding required. In other words, you click on that icon then you can insert your email addy, a web addy, images, etc.

For this forum, you don't need to click on that icon to post a message, or to post any of the items listed above. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks Michelle for the explanation of the UBB code. I get these symbols without ever touching any of the buttons though. It has been this way ever since I started on this forum. I have belonged to other forums and have not had this problem so I'm wondering if something is set wrong on my computer now or what.

HELP, HELP.... I finally figured out how to put pictures in my blog and then today, I tried to update one. I deleted the picture and tried to post a new one in its place.... well, another posting. It wouldn't take my picture. So, I tried to post the picture I had removed and it wouldn't take that one either. So now, my blog has a box with a red X in it but no picture.

How do I fix this? Thanks to anyone that can help me..... will I ever figure out this computer stuff? New tricks and old dogs just don't go together.

Hi I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not. Its not really a problem just a query really.
I know how important it is to keep the pics etc under control, well I have just removed the pic of the twins as everyone has seen them SmileSmile My query is this
Because I have removed the pic would it be right to delte the thread? there is nothing else on it only everyones kind remarks about my grandbabies. Would it help if I deleted or not?
Kim, Tex?
Just wanting to do my bit SmileSmile
