..... the Good morning thread? I read it this morning and later it seemed to have disappeared. I think I may have inadvertently broke it. Well, DH did actually..... he was pluging in an appliance in the kitchen and blew out the circuits, took out the TV and the DVD player, he was recording something, and the computer. Could that be the reason it disappeared?

This is actually the second time, I have posted in this thread. My first thread disappeared as well.

Since I am here, thought I would mention that I really miss the What have You Accomplished thread that Elaine used to stick at the top of the page. Would one of the moderators be interested to reviving the thread? It was so nice to have one place to look for the progress folks were making on their projects.

Meg pruning is on-going! Kim is reorganizing the forum! Good Morning is an off-topic discussion better suited to our "chat" area.

Linda it will go there! We are getting rid of old discussions that are subject to time. Like what you Accomplished in Jan 2007 is no longer an active topic.... Anything that is not quilt related will go into off topic! Threads like Good Morning...we need to meet each morning in chat to discuss the weather etc.

Deleting threads that are time sensitive will hopefully free up lots os space. Will the old threads from the Looking for a Pattern be deleted as well? It is such a wonderful reference.

Meg, we are pruning right now and there will also be a reorganizing of threads. A lot of topics are in the wrong areas.

Kim is working on a reorg list but it will take time. So if you can't find something just maybe do a search. We hope to keep a lot of the threads but it will be in a different area and under a more specific topic...

And we really want to use our chat... but that will come slowly I realize.

Sounds good. It is a big undertaking, I know, but one that will make the forum more user friendly, and that's always a good thing!

It will be nice to see the chat being used more, I used to check there all the time but got out of the habit when it was used so little. Will have to re-trian myself now! LOL Just like one of Pavlov's dogs, I try to remember to check there when I log on. hehehehe

Did the folks at eve ever figure out why so many couldn't get into the chatroom? I hope more will be able to visit. Thanks for the infor Betty; sorry to be a pest. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions when I am sure you are busy going through threads and making decisions about what stays and what goes and what gets moved. I do not envy you one bit today. (I think each one of you should be taken out to dinner by DH when this is over!) Didn't think of any of these things until today.

Things like Introductions from Jan 08 and we know you now...stuff like that can go!

A lot is being moved also. For example: under the Forum How-To's...quilting subjects do not go... if you want to know how to do something like how to do binding...it's been moved to Tips and Techniques.

Kim will refine things as she gives new topics and moves things.
