I try, Betty, I try. LOL I am ashamed to admit it, but that really is what I thought when I first read Kim's post. Have I been watching TVLand too much? LOL

Oh, Kimmie, you sly little minx. I went to open the chatroom and found not one but two! You are too much, girl, and the bestest hostess ever- or like the song says the hostess with the mostest!

Meg, you are just too funny! Smile

I still say "Goodnight, John-Boy" once in a while and get puzzled looks from younger folks. Makes me feel really old, lol! Smile

A 19-year old asked me recently if I'd ever seen the show "Alf". I told her not only had I watched it before, but had the pleasure of watching it on primetime television. Big Grin

Geez, I remember watching the Brady Bunch on primetime t.v.,lol! Those were the days! Yippee!

Haven't been on here much lately. Who are the NHGC folks?

HI! Boy! Have we missed you! NHGC stands for National Home Garden Club. They had a forum similar to this one, but during some re-organization the entire board went down. One of the ladies is also a quilter, so they have been keeping in touch with each other through BC until their forum is fixed. We are hoping to convert some of the other ladies to quilting!

Girlfriend, we are quilters! We can quilt anywhere! One of the Bible/quilt study groups on Yahoo had a discussion on where we quilt. We quilt on trains, planes, and automobiles! Tour buses to shop hops, one lady quilts in the boat while her husband fishes! (And don't forget- NASA has not one, but two quilting astronauts!

We quilt at soccer games and band practices and orchestra recitals. I used to quilt during drum lessons. We quilt not only in the waiting rooms of doctors and dentists and orthodondists, but some of us even quilt while we are waiting on the gurney! Some of us quilt in front of a cozy fir in the winter and some while relaxing on summer vacation! So why not quilting in the garden? Where all have you ladies quilted?

Somebody asked about it last week. Kim said they (Eve or Bella) were doing some diagnostic stuff and it should be back up soon. Guess the patient was sicker than originally thought- mine is not working, either.

Ladies, I apologize for the delay...I've asked them for help and have heard nothing back. I'll get back on them in earnest and hopefully the problem will be resolved soon. Smile
