PLEASE DO NOT POST ON THIS THREAD UNLESS YOU HAVE A FORUM PROBLEM!!!!
Because threads get lost quickly, due to our multiple chatterings, I am asking all of you to ONLY post here if you have a Forum problem !!!!!

I am not physically able(YET) to be on here very much & I will probably miss your posts, if you post elsewhere!

PLEASE--be specific as to what your problem is?

PLEASE DO NOT "CHIT CHAT" ON THIS THREAD---PROBLEMS ONLY!!!

Thank you! TeXas

Unable to enter Chatterbox. All I get is a white screen with a small square in the middle. The picture on the small square reminds me of a piece of film with a Q in the center. The lower right corner of the "film" is torn and lying just a tiny bit lower than the rest of the "film". Thanks for passing on my troubles to Kim's crew. Am hoping to join the chatters soon.

Believe it or not, I can't get into chat either!

I've tried so many things! Nothing has worked so far. Right now, they think it is a problem with my firewall.

Some of the things that I've tried are:

1. Downloaded and installed the browser, Firefox.

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Didn't work for me, but it might for someone else.

2. Downloaded and tried Internet Explorer 7:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx

Didn't work for me, but it might for someone else.

3. Clear your browser cache and close then reopen your browser.

4. Delete cookies for this forum by going to the cookies section of your Personal Zone.

5. Downloading the latest version of Flash:

If I get any more suggestions, I'll pass them on here.

I'm getting a blank blue screen and nothing else. Sounds sort of like what some of you are experiencing as well.

Kim-

I crashed again last Saturday; this time computer went into shop. When it came back, I was able to access chatroom; however, I just tried to open chatroom and nothing happened. Just a blank white screen with a little box in the upper right corner. I checked my profile and if I could get into blog, everything seems to be in order. Don't understand how I could get in yesterday and not today, any suggestions?
I am leary of just installing stuff without some guidence. Thanks.

Well, I am not sure if this is a problem or not. I have been noticing in the last two days or so, that when I reply to certain threads an the icon for a blocked pop-up appears at the bottom of my screen. As soon as I post my reply and return to the thread itself, the image disappears. It does not happen on every thread, for instance, I am not getting one right now. Is this something that I specifically or the forum as a whole should be concerned about? Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know what it means?

Okay, so here is a new piece to the puzzle. Hubby and I have two computers, his and mine. On the same network, both set up by him, with the same software and protections. Here is the mystery: I can get into the chat on his computer, but not mine. Also, when I brought home my laptop from work, it could get in as well. I have tried everything I can think of with my computer and it will not get into the chat. Very curious. Guess I will keep using hubby's computer, but I feel terrible for those who can't get in at all!!

Kim, I am unable to get into chat too. I get a blue screen with a stick type figure spinning in the middle of the screen, then, a blank screen, then a few minutes go by and then it pops up and says unable to establish a connection. I have tried both of my computers.

I mentioned to Dh (Bill) at supper tonight that a couple of you can't get into the chat room - he said to try turning OFF your firewall and virus protection. See if that works. He worked for IBM for 25 years, so he knows whereof he speaks!

Hope that works, OKNana and Meg, and Kim
