I am looking for a quilt pattern with three tulips coming out of a basket, one turning left, one in the center and one turning right. It was published in Quilter's World around 1973. My mother made this quilt and I would like to find the pattern.

Have you checked with the company/website? They may still have it in their archives.

I'm a tulip-aholic when it comes to this flower and patterns avail. This one is one of my favorits. The 3 tulips are facing upwards, one tilted left, then straight up, then the other to the right and the basket has a handle? Curved or straight(triangle shape)? If I remember right, the pattern is pieced but a curved handle may be appliqued. Most tulip colors have been red or yellow. Let me know if I'm on the right track. I probably know where you can get this pattern.

Hello: Yes, you are on the right track. The quilt block was pieced abd did not have a handle, at least my Mother did not put one on. The stems of the tulips were put on with bias tape. Was very glad to hear from you. Hope you can find the pattern for me. Thnks

My son is the tulip-holic in our family. I would like to make him a tulip sampler. Would be very interested in seeing this pattern, too.

Is this a block that is on-point? Or square? What I mean is, is the basket in a corner, or along the bottom of the block. That would help, too. TIA

Would you have a picture of Mom's quilt you could share?
