My partner in "fabric" crime and I went to a big quilt show over the weekend. It was just sooo full of beautiful work, but...there were SEVERAL of these stunning quilts called "New Orleans Puzzle". O-M-GOSH...they were absolutely stunning! About the perfect size for a large round kitchen table. Anyhow... I don't have the pattern.. I have the LINK...and a photo. Anyone know where to find this pattern? This site says it has kits, but...I'd rather just have a pattern. The ladies who were hosting the show were available to answer questions. They said the "N. O. Puzzle" had been done as a work shop earlier in the year exclusively for their club. They were allllllll so different, and o-soooo stunning!

I wonder if they just used the center to make the New Orleans Puzzle.

Felicia -

I HAVE that pattern and it is called #124 Star Spin. I purchased this pattern in Amish country in Ohio 2 years ago. I also purchased an Amish-made WH of this pattern because I love it. Maybe one day I'll make one of my own.

Oregon Treasures is the name of the company who produces the pattern.

Ladies, I knew I had seen it somewhere, but until Linda posted the name she had, and I googled that, I didn't remember where.

If you wanted bands of colour like your pic, just make strip sets!

Here is the link where I found the mention of QC's pattern

Have fun!

Just found this!
http://www.amishcountrylanes.com/Pages/hs118.shtml
If you look at this pic http://www.amishcountrylanes.com/Pages/hs118.shtml you can see that they have made the triangles as log cabin blocks, and it looks like they cut them in half. Hmmmm...

I love going to this site to drool and save pics!! Smile
