CJ, can you give us any more info? Is it a pieced block? Appliqued? I googled September Morn, and came up with Joann.com but no link to the block mentioned, and a book/pattern fr Thimbleberries titled September Morning.
I won't be able to look again until tomorrow evening - busy drywalling! but can do some more searching then if no one else has found it.

Welcome to the forum, CJ. The name sounds familiar, but I cannot find a pattern either. I am thinking that perhaps it is a new design, or perhaps, an old block that someone has re-named because of color placement.
Any info you can provide on where you came across this block would help refine a search.
I saw a picture of this block on the www.serialquilters .com/Kim site posted Sept 3/07. Kim said that she would be putting it on Block Central some time in Sept. but I can not locate it. I have checked all the patterns on Block Central but to no avail. I could probably do the math myself however if it has already been done ....... why reinvent the wheel? Thanks for any help
Yeah! That's where I saw it. I knew it sounded familiar. I have not heard any more about it either. I guess it's time to ask Kim. You can send her a PM through this site or through serial quilters. I'll be curious to hear what the status of the block is.
Was looking at the Sept. Morn. block and in EQ6, in the blocks library there is one that looks a lot like that, but the center is different. It is called Mosaic #5 (2). Maybe someone that is more proficient in EQ6 knows how to get the measurments of that block! Just a suggestion. I will keep looking tho!! Wendy

Thanks for all your replies to my search for the Sept. morn block. I am relieved to know that I am not the only one who cannot find it. I have EQ6 so will look at the one suggested.
