Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for making placemats or tablerunner using 2 1/2 strips?
Any on line patterns, or just some ideas. I have not done alot of strip quilts and want to start small before the strip swap is finished.
Thanks

Wooo, I like the table runner and the placemats are cute.
Looks easy enough for me, but yet, attractive. I really have never used strips like that in a pattern, so I guess it is a whole new adventure. Thanks

You might try a Braid for a table runner - you could made it as wide and long as you need.

Also the one Cindy mentioned in her first post above is a great one to make. I've made probably a dozen or more of them to sell at a craft fair - and sold all but one (only because it was an odd color!) Ended up giving it to a friend because it matched the colors in her dining room. That pattern makes up fast and always turns out really nice.
