I bought a kit about a year or two ago (DOn't LOL on me) and finally have time to get to it. BUT I can't find the magazine withthe pattern.

It is a Holly Holderman design using her black and White Roses and Romance toile, a mini check (b/w) and a cranberry with tiny black dots.

If anyone has this magazine, I would like to buy it or find out whih one it is.

Judi ... Welcome to BC!

I have looked through all my older quilting magazines ... I do not have all that many older ones as I have only been quilting for about three years ... as I thought I had seen one something like what you are describing .. but is was for Holly's "La Belle Rose" collection.

Unless someone comes in here waving a magazine ...

which just may happen Wink ...

I would suggest you contact Holly directly ...

I looked through her blog here but could not find what you are describing ...

and her website ...

Sorry, I could not be more help ... best of luck finding your pattern ... Smile

Judi, hi, and welcome!
Is this the line you are talking about?
http://www.quiltersbuzz.com/2007/04/introducing_la_belle_rose_the.html#more

She has had patterns published in American Patchwork and Quilting's Quilts and More magazine, and McCall's Quilting. I'll keep looking for you.

OK, I can't find it! So sorry!! I hope someone knows what you want, or that you remember where you saw it. It's so aggravating when that happens!I know! I've been there!

Well, better get to my laundry and granddaughters! Later!

Judy, I have loads of older magazines so if you figure out which one it is in, let me know and I'll see if I have it. I'm going to start looking when I get home tonight .... that la belle rose looks familiar but maybe because I remember seeing the advertisement

Judi ...

You said "Roses and Romance" ...
I am thinking that you mean this fabric line:
http://quilthome.com/index.php/cPath/38_271_342

Is that the one?

Here you go, Judi! http://quickquilts.com/curiss/106_winter_solstice/

The best part is you can order the issue it's in from McCalls ! Go for it!!

I'm so glad you found the name - I went through a bunch of my magazines yesterday after I read your post, and didn't find it, but then, I don't buy every issue anymore, either Big Grin

sorry Judi, I purged my magazine collection in May, and only kept a year's worth. Took out patterns I really liked, or made photo copies.

Just don't have room to store them. Glad you found the name. Looks like you can order from McCalls.... good luck, and keep us posted as to how your quilt progresses.
