Anybody made, or know of a pattern for a football applique? Gma said to use freezer paper and a picture if I couldn't find one, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to check first. Wnt to make a football quilt for my DH as part of a fall care package whiles hes deployed.

We are very fortunate here to have a retired librarian as a member. She is a whiz at finding stuff on the internet. We call her Marian (for the librarian from The Music Man), but her real name is Gerda. I 'spect she will be along soon and will have even better suggestions for you.

Penny, I was online yesterday looking for patterns/sites for you, when, whoops! The power went out!! It wasn't off for long, but I also had my granddaughters to deal with - they wanted to go out and play! so this is the first I've had the aircard and access to the internet for longer than a couple of minutes. They just left!

Let me know if you still need a pattern for the helmet, and I'll keep looking. Looks like Meg did an outstanding job of filling in for me.
