I have a pattern for a paper-pieced wall hanging, and two applique patterns that I believe could be adapted to paper-piecing. I'm not sure if any could be adapted to machine piecing, but possibly to hand piecing. It would mean working with bias edges, which really isn't as terrible as many think. If you've ever made a New York Beauty or a Dresden plate, you've worked with bias before. I'd be happy to help you get started if you'd like.

This isn't a free pattern but easily pieced according to the description.

Debbie,

There is a very nice PP lighthouse on this site:
http://quiltiger.homeip.net/
Go to "Blocks" ...
Then "Specialty" ...
Scroll down to "L" ...

Hope this helps,

Pat

Good Morning, Jacqui! Smile We crossed posts ... those are very nice patterns, too. Smile

I have been thinking of making a lighthouse wallhanging for this summer, so I find this thread very interesting. Thanks for asking the question for me, Debbie, Wink

Fiddlesticks! Frown I can't get the pictures to open up on the Quiltzine site! Mad What am I doing wrong? Confused

All the other's worked well and looked very cool. I downloaded several. Pat, thanks for sharing the Quiltiger site. Did anyone look at the designer blocks? There are two I am going to have to alternate in a quilt: Margaret's Delight and Steve's Choice. How perfect is that? LOL

Debbie, there's a cute striped lighthouse pattern in Nancy Johnson-Srebro's Block Magic, Too These patterns look paper-pieced, but they're not. Amazon has "new or used" listed for 14.97, and half.com has it at 13.99.
