Thanks for the tip, as someone who pieces by machine..I think I would like that book!! anyone own it? and willing to share the light house pattern??? (or sell me the book?) Big Grin

I prefer traditional piecing, too.

I have the first one of these Block Magic books. I looked yesterday ... no lighthouse ... and I love it. Now I am going to be looking for the second one. If I find it before you do, I will let you know ...

You know that you can convert those paper-pieced patterns by adding 1/4-inch seam allowance all around! As long as there are not a bzillion pieces that is!

Hi I'm new here the only lighthouses I have seen has the applique.
I'm looking for a pattern for a quilt she did it was a parasal lady but she cut the pieces and placed them on a block then appliqued around the whole lady it wa so pretty but I can't find.
