Congratulations, little mama! Do you want a girl or boy? If a little girl arrived an May 27, you could name her Mary Margaret Rose since she would share her birthdate with Mary and me.

Have you ever made a baby blocks, somtimes called tumbling blocks? Has lots of set-in "y" seams, but there is a method to do it without a single "Y". Bet Gerda could find the instructions on-line.

Dorian, here's a link to the last baby quilt I made. http://www.quiltpox.com/patterns/Hugs/

It works up quick and easy and was really fun to put together - I made it in 30's repro, just like the pattern - no two blocks alike. Made it for a co-worker of my hubby. Gabby (Gabrielle) is a lovely little girl, born last June.
