Well, I did look but I only had a couple of these magazines. I was thinking about The Quilter Magazine that I have had a subscription for the last couple of years.

Sorry, hey look in the back of a current issue in the advertisements, people are always wanting to sell old magazines and you might just get lucky!

It is a long shot but: I don't know where you are located but the goodwill stores here sell old books and magazines you might try them. Are perhaps the library????? Good luck.

I'm thinking our library might have back issues of Quilter's World. I'll do my best to get in there tomorrow and check. If I find it, I'll photocopy the article you need.

Hi,
I sent a PM with the directions for step 6. Please let me know if it got through. Smile
Trina

PS. If not enough, I could go to our library to get a copy made of the directions.

Ok, we have it.
Step 6 on page 43:
Cut four 6 1/2" width of fabric strips. Join 2 strips on short ends to make long strip. Press seam open. Repeat for two strips, subcut each strip into a 67 1/2" strip.

Personally I would place the seam in the middle so it looks planned and not off line with the other seams.

Hope this does the job for you.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped me find this. It truly made my day! Now I can get started cutting this afternoon. Thanks again for so much goodwill -- quilters are such generous people!

Pam, if you still want the entire pattern, I checked out the magazine from the library this morning. There's a couple patterns in there I want too, so can make you a copy if you'd like.

Nola, thanks for the offer but it isn't necessary. I have the whole magazine, it was just the corner of that one page that was torn off. There are several patterns in the magazine that are lovely but I wanted this one for it looked so easy and quick. It's basically strips of flying geese surrounding panels of Christmas fabric, if that makes sense. I have a lovely fabric that I've had for some time but just couldn't decide what to do with it. The design was large and would have been lost if I'd cut it for most pattern pieces. Using it for the panels in this quilt will be perfect.
