So I'm not the pro here, and I'm new on this board so I hope I don't tick anyone off by asking this. Could you maybe be a little more specific as to what sort of bed quilt you would like to have? If you had a color scheme/pattern, block size, etc. in mind and put out a call for blocks I might just have to raise my hand and volunteer for a couple or so. Just don't want to be making ugly blocks that won't fit in with the quilt you had in mind!

well if you were going to make a lap quilt (40x50) for the cancer patients then feel free to make any color, pattern, style you would like. The fabric and blocks to be donated would be for the lap quilts. and if i get blocks then i would do a scrap block quilt. For the auction, if you are interested, it would be nice to have a full/queen. but if you would like to do this i request that you make the quilt and send it. Right now i have put aside my bed quilt trying to get a dent in the quilts for the cancer patients and, to me, those are more important than one for the auction. Now if someone would like to make one rock on! but i would just rather concentrate my time on the lap quilts. My goal is to make 50 quilts for Brittany's Battle and carry them to Lineberger Cancer Center for Christmas. 3/50 Quilts Made

Okay. I was thinking you might want people on the board to make blocks to send FOR a quilt to be made and auctioned. Sorry. I obviously read things wrong.

April- Can you use anything smaller? I have a couple of kits that are panels, that make a quilt 33" x 42". The fabrics are probably more suited to a very young child (toddler or younger). Let me know, if they would work, and they will go to the top of the never ending list after the camp quilts are all finished up. (I just have some bindings and labels to do! ) Jami
