Wow Betty. I always thought quilters were a friendly bunch. I was simply posting a request by someone in Connecticut that is making quilts for the families of the VT shooting but I certainly won't ever do that again!!! I was not advertising my sites. I do have a link to them in my signature which is allowed I believe!!!
Thank you Gerda for sticking up for me.

OK ladies, lets all smile, no harm was intended Vicky, we have had a couple of people who use the site as advertising boards before.. unfair to Kim( our founder)...
Thanks Gerda for smoothing the waters Smile Smile
With hindsight Vicky hun it may have been better if you had just popped an explanatory note with the sites SmileSmilePlease don't stop passing things on, its what we are all about SmileSmile

Vicky checked out your web page and those are some very thoughtful blocks that you have gotten so far, so you are making or requesting blocks so that you will have enough for each family, that is going to be so special, I'm just sorry that at the time I am so bogged down with other things and swaps on several groups that I can't extend myself right now, however if you are still in need of some help then please come back and give us a crack at helping, I for one would sure be glad to give a helping hand, in the meantime I hope that you are able to give these gifts of care as soon as you can to help all those grieving familes. We are doing the same with our BCAUS project it always feel good to help someone else who is hurting and or just plain giving.

I glanced at the blog and will go back and re-read more closely. I was talking to my mother at the time. She would like to make some blocks if I can find the particulars for her. My brother did his graduate work at Virginia Tech so she feels strongly about doing something for the families.
