I might be able to do Friday and Saturday - believe it or not we were actually planning on being in that area that weekend to start our vacation. SmileWe have friends in Elkhart Indiana, not far from there at all.

If you decide to have one in Southern Indiana I will certainly help plan it. Nola - I grew up in Mitchell Indiana just a few minutes from Spring Mill. I spent a lot of time there as a kid. You are right - it is a delightful place.

Just checked the first post and where can you go for a retreat for this kind of money? Seems very reasonable. I want to be added as coming. I'm very excited as it's a great time of the year. JudyK

Great, Judy!!! So glad you are coming! I'm sure Meg is keeping track of those who are coming, but I'll email her and be sure she has you on her list!

Nola-

I have been keeping a running talley on the first page of this thread, along with the info you provided about costs for lodging, etc. I just added Judy, so that brings us up to nine- although two of those are dependant on health issues.

I am working on getting Jennell here now. I promised her there would be no snow, just lovely autumn leaves.

I don't mind sharing a room as long as there is a bed for each of us. Is that the way it will work? I toss and turn a lot and I just would not want to submit someone to that and I'm used to sleeping alone. I like my space. Confused
Does that make sense? I too am excited about this and I'm really looking forward to coming up. JudyK

DH asked me again today if I was coming, and I said I'd sure like to Smile so then he said I'd best start looking into airfares and such - oops that reminds me, I'd better get my passport pics done tomorrow and get that application in the mail for a new PP!! Can't come if I don't have a passport!!

We could always smuggle you through the railroad tunnel between Detroit and Windsor. I hear it was a major corridor into Canada for draft resistors during the Vietnam era.
