Debo - I admire you for your excellent work and finding the focus to channel your energy into something more creative. Kudos to you and Jacqui and everyone else with health problems to do something constructive instead of dwelling on the negative.

We aren't any better than you just more experienced of which I know Jacqui will agree with me on this -I hope no one ever has to learn to focus this way on the positive!!! When you deal long enough with an illness you "finally" learn to deal or give up. I have had health issues since I was 22 year old and I turned 51 this year so it is just what time does to one.

Jacqui too & others are an inspiration to me becasue she is walking where I haven't walked and I am amazed every time I see her posting and encouraging everyone else. I know it isn't easy to be on the receiving side of a health issues but she just keeps smiling and plugging along. So I do understand what you mean Tata but it is there when and if you ever need it. I just hope and pray you never do.

Amen to that, Deb! I couldn't have said it better myself. As a 3 year BC survivor, I can attest to that, and I know if it wasn't for my Lord and Saviour, I don't think I would have been as positive. And prayers of family and friends helps, too.

Jacqui is indeed an inspiration - I have an idea of what she is going through, because my mom died of a brain tumour, and I was there for her last days. She never complained, either.


Tata, you will find (should it ever becomes necessary, and I too pray it never does) that you can do whatever is necessary and smile, too.

Looks like I will be working on my blocks this week.

Nola has this fabric in her stash and she is swapping me a yard of this Chriatmas fabric too, because I will be making a set of Pillow shams to go with this beautiful quilt pattern. Maybe a table topper to go with it IF I have enough left over. I will have to be careful how I cut my pieces.
