Actually, it's a great idea, Linda. I have heard of quilters who cut that piece of selvedge with all the info on it, off their fabric, write the shop name, price paid and date, as soon as they get their fabrics home. I think they pin them all together.

I'm glad you were able to find it! It is frustrating when you can't find just a little bit more. Sometimes the colour will be slightly different, due to dye batches. So you did good!! All the same!! Have fun sewing!!
