I'm looking for a piece of fabric with rows of waving people - like they are standing on the railing of a cruise ship. The people are about 2-3" tall. I want to make a WH. I only need a FQ or 1/4-1/2 yard. I really need about three 24" pieces of the people. HELP! Thanks!

This is the one you are looking for I would presume? The fabric has been out of print for awhile, and this is the only listing in ebay I could find. I saw a wall hanging with this fabric at the Dallas Quilt Show and the lady stated that she could not publish the pattern because the fabric was unavailable.

Maybe you can snag this one. I didn't see it anywhere else online, but it is called "Bon Voyage" and made by Makower of England.

You gals are great! Thanks! I googled and nothing turned up! WOW!

Thanks, Cookie - I ordered the fabric I needed.

Jenn - I saw that WH, too, at the Dallas Quilt Show, and that's why I wanted the fabric. They were out of the kits and said they couldn't find the fabric so they couldn't make more. My cousin and I are taking a Mediterranean cruise in August and I wanted to make each of us one to commemorate the cruise.

God bless eBay!...lol

Another "in a pinch" solution I saw on TV one day for running out of fabric (or repairing antique quilts). Scan a block or the piece of fabric you've run out of and then print it onto fabric. The only person who will spot the imposter fabric is the person who sewed it on so they say...lol

I sure hope you post a photo of the quilt when done! That's really cute fabric, and I LOVE your Asian blocks for the May - HB! Very bright and pretty!

Thanks, Felicia. I like the Asian prints, too. Even though they aren't my color scheme in my house.

I have ordered the pattern for the Cruise Ship WH, so I will post it when it is done. I probably COULD have made it myself and saved the money, but it is so much easier not having to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.

Hello1 I am also looking for the rows of waving people fabric. Bear Paw is out of it and ebay was $5.00 per fat quarter and I thought this was too expensive. Does anyone have any they would like to sell? Does anyone know of a site that carries it? I would like to make a girlfriend who loves to cruise a quilt for Christmas. Thanks! Pamela

I have what I bought from Bear Paw - but then the woman who makes/kits the cruise ship WH pattern bought the rest of it. I don't know of any other right now.
