i'm hoping someone knows where i can find nascar-print fabric. not just any nascar tho - my DH is a HUGE Tony Stewart #20 fan. i can find Dale, Dale, Jr., Jeff Gordon, etc., i have even found a "checkered flag waving" fabric - but NO #20! i have tried looking on a few sites here on web but haven;t had any luck - figure i just haven;t found the right site yet.

or if not #20 nascar, then perhaps fabric featuring 18-wheelers??

DH drives OTR and spends alot of time in his truck "Home Sweet Second Home". anyway, his bed covers need to be replaced and i would like to surprise him with a quilt in either nascar #20 or some type of 18-wheeler themed fabric. if i start looking now (and saving $$ LOL) then hopefully can get one done in time for his birthday in august. since he's gone quite a bit, keeping the quilt a surprise won;t be a problem!

thanks for the help, ladies!
cindy

It's great when you want to surpize someone that you have the way to do it in secret. By your hubby being away you have the opportunity and the time, 7 more months. But the longer you wait to find the right fabric cuts into your time so I hope you find what you want soon.

I don't know if you are an Ebay shopper, but if you go into crafts, and put "Tony Stewart Fabric" in the search, several fabrics come up.

Steam trains? Jacqui, it seems that not only are you and I joined at the hip, but our two Steve's must be clones of one another! My Steve is mad for steam engines! All the men in my family are- my older brother is even retired from the railroad! I will check my sources on see what I can find for you! My mother and I want to make a railroad crossing quilt for him.
