Cindy, I didn't realize that fabric would be so hard to find! I wonder if it came out last year? That would explain the difficulty. I hope you get some, even if they are different pieces, you can still make DH a wonderful quilt. and the checkered flag fabric would make cute (can we say that for a guy) curtains for the sleeper unit. Go for it!!

I am not really sure exactly where to find the fabric that you want. I have had some luck using the fabsearch that the Fabric Shop Network has. Have you tried that yet?

well - after MUCH looking & bidding and LOOSING bids, i have finally been successful! not exactly what i wanted, but we quilters have a way of making what we have on hand work for us to make gorgeous creations! i received the yard of tony stewart pillow panels today that i won the bid on ebay! there are 4 panels. i'll get some fabrics for borders and use the TS as a center panel of sorts. i will post a pic when i get it done!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! oh i cannot wait to see the look in his face!
