Ok sorry I just started to look thru my pics and there is a couple of yrs. in there I will post new ones as the yard progresses. For those of you who don't know I had 2 huge locust trees in a small back yard and I finally got the landlord and the city to take them out. It is getting to be a bigger and better veg. garden as the years go by. Only deffinate in my life is the yard keeps changing.

Jody, what a beautiful front yard!

Do you still have a ton of snow on this?

(I best not post any pictures of mine after that one.)

FF, your living area looks so comfy with all those nice green plants, pillows and afghan and such.

I just do not have that kind of light. I have a lot of trees on the south side which block the sun ... but they make the backyard much cooler in the summer and the birds love them. I do not have a lot of sunny areas for planting and the house can be dark. I am just going to have to make more of an effort with what I do have.

I love looking at all the garden photos here, while I am waiting for a little spring Shamrock Pat

Hi all,
Thanks for giving us our own garden spot! Cheer
I am pretty well beat right now so this is a real quickie! I am an indoor and outdoor gardener, LOL! I will post some picts, maybe tomorrow. Right now I would like to give Scrapatches a hand with the shade issue. Here are a few links to help you out.

http://www.waysidegardens.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet...nnel=Perennials%20AS
(If you click on the picts. it will tell you about the zones they are hardy for etc. I am guessing you are in zone 4 or 5.)

http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/horticulture/DG1428.html
http://www.gardenline.usask.ca/yards/shadeperennials.html
(these 2 are lists of shade tol. plants)

Hope these are helpful! Big Grin

Bear, thanks for the visit and coffee! So nice to see you!

Hello to Everyone! I need sleep now. See ya's in the a.m. Night Sleep
