Thanks for this thread. We will talk your ears off about gardening. We love to garden! Inside or Outside we all share our ideas and give advice when ever we can.

Right now I am babying an amerlyis. It looks neat! Last year it didn'tr bloom but all of a sudden this year it took off! LOL I have had great success with christmas cactus as well. They are all mostly blooming again. Will have to take some pics and share too.

Oh boy...loved all the photos! I always get inspired by them!

Sso... I wanted to toss in a few more flower photos this morning. So... I say... ummmmm.... African Violets it is. I've been slowly getting my P-Bucket organized and finding this stuff is getting easier even tho' I have 1/10 the photos in that program that Moon does...lol I'll just post my favs...that way I won't BREAK the new thread... Big Grin I haven't even begun to address the baby, yard, holiday, pet, garden show, vacation, remodel, fire, etc etc photos, yet. Eek Man... I am SO SORRY I didn't do this in the beginning! I have 15 pages organized...only 20 MORE TO GO...ugh!

Lucky for you guys.. .I can't find ALL my AV photos. So...this is what you get this morning. I have to get Nedster to e'splain to Lucy HOW ya get the photos to line up across the page. I'm sorry I didn't copy it to file.

This is how they look displayed in the dining room, but they have outgrown that location. I have this many in the bedroom too.

Enjoy...and poof*

Those pics are glorious!! Felicia, love the violets! I had great success with them about 30 years ago - just the right window and light, but successive homes did not have the right spot. HOpefully I can grow them in our new home!! They are my absolute favourite indoor flower/plant!!

I also want to grow daylilies, had some orange ones in our last acreage, but this time, once I get the yard sorted out - it's a clay-y mess right now! Smile - I want to plant so many - hostas definitely as the north side of the house will be shady most of the day.

Thank you all for sharing your pics and knowledge - glad you're here! I would never have thought of going looking for a gardener's forum!!! Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Ho!

Jody, your yard is the bomb! I love those great big hostas, and your grass is soooooo green! If you have a couple of starts left over, i'd love to find a home for them in my yard (hint, hint, wink wink, nudge, nudge!)

Here's a photo of my yard, it's a work in progress (aren't all gardens, LOL) and was taken last year. So far, things are just waking up getting ready for the big jump.

I have lots more, LOL, but these are a start. See, you can plant lots of neat stuff in the shade. Love the shady plants, they look soooooo cool.

Have a loamy day,
