Hey there ladies,
Thousght I would ask if there are any more blocks cioming in that haven't gotten sent yet? A few offered and I am not sure if I need to plan on making a few extra blocks or if I should wait for these others??? I don't know if they got mailed and didn't make it here or not so please let me know if you haven't heard from me and sent a block or if it is in the making still. I want to get working on this quilt as soon as I feel a bit stronger for sewing.

Those of you who signed blocks I have them made into blocks but got stopped before I could get them squared up and sewn into a top. I will post a pic when I can.

Nope not to early for them.

Tornados are created when the cold aair and hot air colide in the spring and fall time when we are trying to go from season to seaason and the 2 mixed don't get along well together=think of it this way you have northern air and southern air in a battle with each other and when they meet it is war!!! LOL Thank the good heavens that the north and south {people} aren't like that now.

I would love to have a block from you, I love BC and all of you ladies that have been so kind and good to me and I want you to be a part of my quilt if you would like to be. I love people and am so easy to please and just simply love quilting and all the fun we have here.

I suppose I should of expected life to get in the way for some who promised blocks and didn't get to send them, and I should of made sure I was getting more responses than I needed but LIFE HAPPENS and I didn't ~ anyway I was just letting people offer as they wanted to so I wasn't sure what kind of response I would of even gotten at first.

I don't know what happened but I am happy with the ladies who sent me signed blocks and will cherish them always and I will be happy if anyone else wants to step in and send me a signed block or I will send a square for you to sign like my offer in the beginning. It has been done both ways I just left it to the person to decide which way they wanted to go.

The block is a 12 1/2" unfinished "Bright Hope" block. ***Hint*** If you try to make a bright hope block lay the white center block on top of the first pink strip and sew it part way down with the white block on top. Then start the second pink strip on these 2 pieces this makes it easy to do and not confusing. Then the last step of stitches are then to go back to the unfinished stitching on the first strip once the other 3 strips are put on. Hope this helps.

I apologize to anyone who felt maybe they had to sign up because they had too. That was not my intent to make anyone uncomfortable about signing blocks. Some have responded here and some by personal message or email and those I didn't post responses to here because I want people comfortable with what they do and when someone corresponds privately with me then it stays private.

You just say the word, Sweetie and I will be sending you some more blocks to fit in your quilt. I found a whole bunch of pink fabrics when I was (don't faint) CLEANING a couple of weeks ago. I can sew up a mess of blank center blocks so you can have others sign if you need. Just let me know! It is NOT a problem...I kind of enjoy sewing these little blocks!
