I am not sure what to tell you right now ~ although I am not pklanning on using a particular white fabric I will have to go through my stash and use whatever whites that I have on hand solids and WOW, the scrappier the better for me I say.

I was expecting to do this in parts ask if it was ok then to get names and addresses from those where were interested if I got enough interest and I have...

You ladies are the best and I will have to scramble to my feet and start going through my whites to see if I have enough to get going and mailing to those of you that I have gotten addresses from already, I will do this one day next week.

There is a fabric store over near my daughter that I want to raid if it is open this weekend after all those storms~some places are still without power and by this weekend we should be allowed in to see what devastation was left behind~anywho I wanted to get me a few more strips of pink to add to what I already have to make it scrappier that 3-4 fabrics.

You are all the best I would definately say I have enough interest started to make me a memory quilt. I can always scatter in a few blank squares if need be, I am not sure how many I will nbeed to make this one with the 8" bright hopes blocks.

Are they not 8" or is it 12"...i am lost!guess 12" would be best less blocks that way...I haven't starting cutting any of them yet!!! I will go look at the patterns section and see thanks for bringing this to my attention, Cindy.

If you want it scrappy, would it be easier for us to just send you down either the center square from our fabric or a finished block (when we know the size ). Sounds like you are going to be spending a bunch of $ on stamps otherwise. Just trying to be helpful here!

I am so confused on the block size!!! I have been maaking EQ 8" blocks and working on these Round Robin blocks and I don't have a clue which way is up or down size wise! You don't have to make me a block I am tickled just to have you sign a block for my quilt. I am honored though that you would do that for me.

I am just overhelmed with all the response that I am getting it beings tears to my eyes! I just want a quilt and was trying to find a way for all of you to be a part of itnat no expense to you and look what you are all doing~or trying to do. I am not worried about the expense I considered that when I came up with the idea ~ 2 stamps per square shouldn't be to much.

I am not going to say no don't send me a signed block or completed block your all so wonderful, I am so choked up right now that I don't have words. You are all the best if some of you want to make me a block then I wont say no but I am going to continue to make a list of addresses and mail a center block to those who are already signed for signing me a center square, unless I know to do differently.

I don't want anyone to feel pressured to complete me a block, I am only asking for my friends to send me an address so they can sign me a square. My intent is to make them the size we usually make them but I am so confused I have been working on EQ and making 8" blocks and then the Round Robin is in 2" added strips and I am lost on the pattern size. I was making the centers 4 1/2" and that is as far as I had got on the pattern.
