debo, the happy blocks for the monthly swaps finish out to 8.5" unfinished.

now the BRIGHT HOPES blocks that we've been making finish out to 12.5" unfinished - but i am sure the pattern can be re-sized to 8.5 if that is what you would prefer!

and i would be honored to make a block - not necessary for all the extra postage! i'll get to them next week tho as soon as you let me know 8 or 12! tomorrow i go with billy to take the truck to atlanta and yep, gonna scout around villa rica a little bit! get a picture of it in my mind! and perhaps bremen, carrollton, wherever else billy might consider living . . . he doesn't mind small towns or communities, but atlanta is definitely out of the question!!

I am going to make me a Pink Breast Cancer awareness Quilt out of 12" Bright Hopes blocks and I came to the forum to ask for signatures in my center block, I am going to send a 4 1/2" center square to anyone interested in signing a block for me with self addressed stamp envolpe included so all anyone is out is a signaature, but I need their mailing address and full name so I know who is interested and where to send the square block. This is the pattern that I am using:

Once some of the ladies seen my request several have wanted to send their own 4 1/2" square or even make me a pink Bright Hopes block so I am not out any extra postage. I was so touched by the outpouring of kindess that if they want to actually make me a block then I didn't say no. Some have posted here, in my private messiaging and in my email ~ my email address is howens@farmerstel.com

My actual request was to send a SASE & a 4 1/2" square for their signature to those sending me their address.

What is the difference between the Bright Hopes block and a Happy Block? I thought they were the same thing.
