FEBRUARY 12 2008 UPDATE

Thank all of you for participating ~ there is still room for you to sign a center square just send me your address info.

Some I am sending squares and some are making me blocks so here is the answer to some questions that have been ask:

I} My patterns is a 12 1/2" Bright Hopes Block unfinished
II} Any Pink 100% cotton fabric
III} The signature square needs signed with a permanent pen ~~~black if possible
IV} Add Your Name & Location ~~~anything else is up to you
V} The Center Square is 4 1/2" White on White
VI} I need to know who wants me to send a White On White Square with a SASE ~ I need your first and last name and mailing address

Please let me know if you want me to send you a Center Square I do still have room for you to participate in the quilt. I wont be adding sashing so it will need several blocks to make any size. I would love for all of you to sign me a square I love all of you so very much you are all my dearest friends and you helped me through those tough times and are still helping me with prayers and concerns that arise. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I am going to make "ME" a Pink Breast Cancer Awareness quilt. As most of you know I am a breast cancer surviver of one year and I have been wanting to make me a scrappy one with the pink and white fabrics, using the Bright Hope pattern.

My question though is ~ Would there be enough interest from you ladies to do this?

Is it alright for me to send you a 4~1/2" center block and have you sign the center square for me before I make it into a block?

If this is alright for me to do then I will send the block to you plus a return envelope with postage ~ but I will need to know if anyone would be interested. While waiting on the squares to return it would give me more time to purchase more pink fabrics to add to my collection for a scrappy pink quilt.

You are all my new and long standing friends and I would love for each of you to sign a block for me but I know this isn't possible for some of you but if enough of you would be interested in signing me a block I would be so thrilled.

There would be no expense on your part just a signature from you ~ of your love and friendship as a token of my surviving breast cancer and your being there for me then and now.

Debo, I think it's a great idea. I would be honored to sign one of your blocks. I lost my grandmother 30 years ago to breast cancer and she would be so happy to hear about all the survivors there are these days.
