Guess I fell down on the job today- hanging my head in shame!

I forgot to remind folks to download today's block.......SO HOP TO IT!!!!!!!

Today's block is up. Read Gayle's post about problems with the fisherman. At my mother's cottage, it was speedboats and skiers (and now jetskis) coming in too close to where children are swimming. My mother's response it to stand on the dock with a pair of binoculars. If that isn't enough to drive them off, she borrows a camera with a big telephoto lens and aims it right at them. Most of them are smart enough to know they can traced by the numbers on the boat and hightail it out of there. Doesn't even matter that my mother doesn't know how to operate these fancy cameras! Who wants to risk photographic evidence in court? LOL

I almost missed Block 25!

I have a question ...

I am printing these. For some strange reason, the hand drawn design on these two blocks are not printing on the background grid ...

The rest of the page shows up on my printed copy just fine.

All the previous blocks printed okay for me.

Am I the only one having this problem????

Do you mean the dotted lines for positioning in the middle of the block? Looks like she forgot to put the horizontal one in, I see only the vertical one.

Meg, I am talking about the hand-drawn floral pattern design on my printed copy.

Block 27 did not print correctly for me either ... but I ran a test print on a block prior to Block 25 and it prints just fine ... so it cannot be my printer.

Block 29 is up, don't forget to get 28 if you didn't yesterday. I was quite surprised when I looked at my file and found it had not been saved yesterday.

I am trying to determine how many more blocks there are. If I remember correctly, this started on May 3 and Gayle said it would run for 30 days. There were 3 blocks already posted so by my math that means there are 33 blocks in total.

I haven't seen anything yet about when the past blocks will be available again. As soon as the date is published we should make sure it gets posted here. Is anyone interested in having a group PM sent out as a reminder? Think I can remember how to do it so I am happy to take the responsibilty. Just leave a message in this thread if you want to recieve it.
