I was looking for a simple ginger jar, but only because I wanted a motif that was obviously Asian to use my Asian fabrics. Never thought of a lantern; this is so much better! Wow! It's pieced, right? That would be much faster than applique. Was there a pattern? If not, I think I could draft my own. Thanks for thinking of me!

that is a beautiful pattern!! My DD brought some fabric home from Korea. She said it was very expensive so she only brought me a little bit. Then we noticed that Walmart had the same thing for a lot less. It would make a nice lap quilt in memory of her 2 trips to Korea. Wendy

That is a pieced Ginger Jar? Wow! Now I'll be hard pressed to decide which one to make! I know! I'll make them both! Can you tell I have a hard time saying, "No"? LOL Is that magazine still on the stands?
