I agree way too much hard work, not only sewing them on but in the after care of the quilt. Ric Rac braid could always be substituted instead Jacqui

I like glitz, but not at that risk. Thanks for checking O-Rose "Faithful Friends Gather Near to Us...." . .

I'm going to suggest using those crystals that are applied using a special tool that heats them and the adhesive on the back. I can't remember the name right now but they are advertised in all of the quilt mags. I have a couple of tee shirts that I used them on over ten years ago and they have been machine washed in warm water and machine dryed many, many times and are still holding firm. Thanks for the link to the pattern. I've got it printed off for future refrence. Barb Mcf

Here's a pic of the front and back of my Bohemian quilt - now I just need to sandwich and sew the quilt together and add some quilting. I call one side Fall/Winter side and the other the Spring/Summer. It was a great way to use up 18 FQs ad border fabrics I wouldn't have used for something else.

Yep - Quick and Easy is my philosophy! LOL! Right now I am making another scrappy quilt top using a pattern from www.quiltville.com. She has soo MANY neat tops that use up scraps. I have 5 tops ready to be quilted - either by me or send off to my quilter. I'm trying to reduce my stash. Next I have 3 Christmas Stocking quilts to put together - I HAVE all the fabrics.

I was at the NQA show in Columbus, Ohio thursday, several of the quilts there were quilted with a metallic thread, which gave them some glitz. Just a thought instead of sequins.

Susie - I thought about the metallic thread, too. That would be a great way to add a little permanent sparkle.
