Connie...if you get it done, post it 'cause we wanna see!! I'll worry about what I have to do to move things later.
I've looked ahead too and frankly some of those blocks scare the pants off me (and that isn't a pretty sight believe me!). But we will either learn and do a great job, do an average job, do a less than perfect job, or don't do some blocks at all if we don't want to. Any of those outcomes is okay. Whatever we choose it will be our quilt, and something we can be proud of. One of the things I've enjoyed most about BC is that I have tried things that I'm sure I would never have attempted if not for the encouragement and camaraderie of members. And isn't it kind of fun to just keep pushing the envelope where are piecing and quilting skills are concerned?

Ok MaryKS I will post it. I just have one more seam to do and it's finished.
I agree that BC has taught me more about quilting than I could have ever learned from ALL the quilting books. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love BOOKS of any kind and now especially quilting books, but the experience and knowledge that is shared and enjoyed on this forum is unbelievable!
Thanks for starting this MaryKS. Your experience and willingess to share that experience is one of the main reasons I joined in the first place!!

Jacqui I'm going to use a bunch of different fabrics since I'm doing this mostly with scraps. I think that is part of the freedom of this quilt is that you don't have to go buy yards and yards of any fabric. Your options are completely open!

Thank you, Connie..that is a sweet thing to say. I learn every bit as much as I pass on everyday.
Jacqui, each of these blocks use such a small amount of fabric that it is a perfect use for scraps. I initially bough 10 yards of off white thinking I was going to have a common background. Then I decided that would just be too boring for me, so I made the decision to vary the backgrounds too. Like I said, these fabrics are almost all from scrap bags I bought in Wisconsin. I think it will be interesting to see the different choices by everyone.
