Hi Jess...I don't recall any issue with the Chinese Coin block. But I always overcut my squares when I make half square triangles, and then trim them to size. So I'm never paying very close attention to the measurements they give.

Thanks Mary. I will try it your way and see if that works for me. If anyone else tries the chinese coin, let me know if you have difficulties.

Mary - good luck at the show this weekend!!

I just hopped in here to take a look at the albums. Wow! There are so many now, and they all look wonderful.

Jess, I hadn't seen yours yet -- you've been mighty busy! Your block look great.

Debo, I'm in love with your Gracie's Friends block; it's just too darned cute.

Yippee!

I have all of the blocks except "N-6" and it isn't posted on the pattern site for some reason, yet! I have "N-5" & "N-7" already

Hi, Deb, I just went and checked, sure enough, it skips from 5-7. So, I sent her an e-mail asking about it - I think maybe it was mis-numbered accidentally, but hopefully she will reply soon. Will let you know ASAP. I've been saving all the patterns, too, hoping to start on them one of these days.

Deb, I just received an e-mail from Jennifer. N-6 is in the September archive http://homepage.mac.com/chiaverini/sylviasbridalsampler...iles/archive-15.html

And she said not to make N7 yet, the measurements are wrong. It'll make a 5 inch block as it is now, not 6 inch. She is reworking it, so check back later.

Now we all know!! Smile

Gerda

Count your blessings, name them one by one.
