Finished the 12 blocks for the 9-11 swap (unless I end up needing more if more sign up between now and the deadline) and just putting the last stitches in the binding for a little wallhangingn for my son's commanding officer. I used the Army block for it so I could test it before using it for the 9-11 blocks. It was something I'd been promising to do..so another item crossed off my list. That always feels good.

Fighting to get past a respiratory bug that grabbed me at Christmas. Finally went to the doctor and got some antibiotic and prednisone (yuck) and I think it's beginning to work. Sure beats going to the hospital! Now I plan to stay well awhile!

i got them finally posted. they really turned out great My son took me out to dinner last night and I had a beer. and all i wanted to do is go to bed... Iam a reall cheap date..teeheee.

Thank you these blocks can fly off my machine when i can get in there. I have my hands into many pots right now. painting the bathroom upstairs today so no or little sewing is going on to day.
