Kim...thank you so much for giving us this new space to talk about and post pictures of Sylvia's Sampler. This will be terrific and make it so much easier for everyone down the road.

Debo...it wasn't a matter of how much work for me...it was primarily that pictures can't be rearranged in community albums except by adminstrators/moderators. So as you added your new pics they wouldn't be with your previous ones. Also, with 140 blocks to be made (more if you make alternate ones) then a single album would soon get huge and difficult for some people to download and view.

So, ladies...if those of you who have posted pictures in the initial album could set up your own albums on this board (and I'll do the same for mine)...Be sure to name them with your name (example: Connie's SBS Album, Debo's SBS Album, etc.) and post your pictures there, once you have done so I'll ask Kim to delete the first album we used. AND BE SURE TO DESIGNATE YOURS AS A PRIVATE ALBUM, NOT COMMUNITY. Then you will be able to add and edit, rearrange, etc.

If anyone has trouble setting up an album, let me know and I will try to help or if I'm unable to help, set it up and maintain it for you. Obviously it will be better for all concerned if you can be responsible for your own album.

Again Kim, thank you for letting us do this. I appreciate it very much and I know the others do too.

Oh wow!!! I have been passing this topic in the forum not knowing what it really was and decided to take a looksy and see what it was all about thought it had something to do with making a wedding quilt or something like that , no LOL. To my amazement this is unique in it's own right so have decided to join in on this fun, not sure where and what to do first so looked at the albums you ladies have created to get an idea and wow they are mighty nice looking there and given me the okay to go for it like I really need something else but that is okay, I enjoy the rush!!!!! Will be thinking about this one all night. Mary the link worked fine for me.

Michelle, what a treat to read your post first thing this morning and discover you are going to join us. There is so much variety in this challenge, and you can start with any block you choose. When you have your first one done create your private album and you're all set.

Thanks Mary, I know that there are so many possibilites in doing this challenge and can creat so many quilts just by doing and sashing and other things, I am getting ready to get some fabric together and jsut do it!!!!!
