I thought this one looked interesting. I've recently started making scrap quilts and this block just might work.

That is a nice pattern, Barb!

Here is a patriotic one that uses red/white/blue scraps ...

Glory in Scraps

I looked at the samples and they were very interesting ... I really liked the "scrappy" ones the best. One of the layouts was very different and got me thinking that this pattren could be made in other color variations, too.

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

{{{{{Debo}}}}} hugs and squishes ... so good to see you!
I really want to give your BPS Applique Butterfly pattern a try ... as soon as I have a few minutes ... I admit that I am a bit intimidated by applique, though ...

I am happy to hear you are going to give it a try that is the whole point of BPS to try new blocks and ways of quilting. Even if you just attempt stitching around a paper copy of a butterfly first. Give it a try you will have fun and the more you practice the better you get so don't fret over the first attempt. When I started doing Applique it was by machine and I had a time with getting around a design but I went slow taking my time walking my machine around a design and now I have upgraded to ```flying around the designs. You will be so proud of yourself for giving it a try and this one will be one you keep so frame it and look back on it as a reminder as time goes by. I use fusible under mine and machine stitch because I love raw edge Applique and this I have found to be "my way"---there are lots of ways to go with Applique now days some us a glue stick and toothpick to turn down their edges let it set up then stitch it down so just remember to have fun SOOOOOO jump right in. And I want pics you will be surprised also at how well the pics will hids flaws so see you will look like you have been working on Applique all your life. If I am around give me a yodel and I will help you with it.

Happy Quilting!
