GRANNY'S FLOWER GARDEN

An alternative to the tradtional Grandmother's Flower Garden, this would go together much quicker. Would look lovely in 30's prints. I am putting it on mt to-do list...... 1,609,872 quilts to make! LOL

So what the heck does N.F.B. stand for anyway? It is early in the morning and I guess I am being way dense.

New Found Brains?
No Funky Bananas?
New Foundland Beauties?
Nothing For Barb?

Hi, This is the 1st time I have looked thru this game. I didn't know there were so many blocks. I have "googled" to check out free quilt blocks but am unsure about going into some of the sites. After seeing so many of the block sites if I was to make all the ones I like I would live to be at least 200 & I would have to buy a quilt fabric store to pay for everything. I have been quilting for a few years but not all the time. Just moved to PA from SoCal a few months ago. Haven't been able to sew as yet. Need to set up my shelves & get my stash situated. Enjoyed reading all the comments from everyone. Loved seeing some of the quilt blocks some of you have made. I have joined a quilt guild here but still keep my membership in my old one in Ontario, CA. Thanks again for all your comments. Hopefully I'll be able to show something I have made.

www.mccallsquilting.com
www.quiltmaster.com

Those are just a few though!

This would make a great two color quilt but I can see it in scraps too if you watch your color values.
