Meg my prayers are for your son. I can say I know how you feel my son was sent to Iraq for 18 months. He was 33 years old in the reserves. He is a Marine scout sniper. It was the hardest time of my life. He had to leave his wife and two little girls at home and his third little girl was born while he was gone. She was a year old before he held her in his arms.May God be with him laura

Kat, so happy to hear all your sons are home.
Meg, keeping yours in prayer.
Laura, Glad your son is home too!\

It's so hard on everyone when they are gone.
Prayers for others that I am unaware of. I wish so much this War could end and they could all come home!

Want to thank you all for your continued good wishes. Not sure if this was a smart thing or not, but I watched the marathon of this past season's Deadliest Catch. If it is an accurate indication of what to expect, there are a lot of helio rescues. Although DS1 has done boardings via helicopter, and even been thrown out of them during training exercises, it is not what he normally does. I am taking that as a good omen. And again, I thank you all for holding my hand. I am sure he would be mortified if he knew how much I am fretting already; he thinks it is a great adventure.

I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, you're right to say it. Voltaire
