Hello I am kind of new here, I haven't posted very much either.
I really don't know how or what to say except that my family and I have been going thru a very difficult time for the past 3 1/2 years and finally after thousands of dollars in therapy and cooperating with the required people it looks as though we are finally going to get this criminal case over with. It is scheduled in March and My children will have to testify in open court. Six Indictments were handed down against someone that they knew and loved and trusted. He destroyed that leaving a whole entire family in shambles. Even tho the end is in site it will never be over in our family it is something that we will all have to live with.
I'm tired, beat down, emotionally in turmoil and scared and finding it hard to keep my strength up for my children who are 12 and 14.
I know what ever will be will be but my family and I need help in this oh strength, courage,
support, and a break would be wonderful.
Right now I feel like my world is literally falling apart and I can't due anything about that except sit and cry and have panic attacks.

I am so very sorry you are going thru such diffculty..but you have come to the right place for support!! Please feel free to lean on your friends here. I am praying that you and your children can find the strength and courage needed. It sounds like you guys already have plenty of both.

I agree with everything that Debbie said; because I have been on the recieving end of the love and support from this group. These women picked me up and carried me through some dark days. It may be of little comfort now, but you will learn that while the scars never go away, they do heal and they become less noticable over time. Will be keeping you and your children in my thoughts daily.

Thumper, we will all be praying for strength for you and your family to FINISH this terrible thing. It sounds like you are so close! Just don't give up now and soon it will be behind you and you will feel a great weight taken off your shoulders. And always remember, and tell your kids too, that God is right there with you! Isaiah 41:10, a great scripture to help you.

Thumper you are all so strong to have made it this far. Let us all lift you in prayer, thats what this wonderful group is excellent at. They have helped me more than anyone could know. Stay strong

My thoughts and prayers are going up for you and your family. It's tough being the "strong one" when all you want to do is sit and cry. So please do - just sit down and cry for a while when the kids aren't around. If I may offer something to you that has helped me - let go and let God handle it. Give Him all your worries and trust that He will take care of it all for you.

Hugs Thumper, we are here and will pray for you and your family to have healing, courage & strength to go the last mile of the way. God will carry you and your children through all of them make you all stronger and better for going through tough/hard times.

I understand being emotionally beat down and having to deal with the horrible cost and the slow pace of the legal system!!!, although mine is for different reasons and clearly your situation is more serious than mine.

I understand the urge to cry uncontrollably and the horrible anxiety attacks. Been doing it too. Crying is helpful, as it relieves some of the pressure so don't be ashamed to cry.

The wonderful people on this board have been giving me prayers and support too, and I can do the same for you and your family.

You have officially been added to my prayer list for daily prayer and support. God is there while we endure pain and you must take a bit of comfort in knowing you are putting an end to something bad. It will get better and the pain will lessen and you will be able to use this experience to help others in some way which God will direct you to do. I am sure of this.

Don't hesitate to post your need for support. Quilting has been my comfort and my therapy of late - the brighter the colors the better - a symbol of hope and brighter days ahead. Not much money for quilting, but I can make a whole lot of bright stuff out of scraps.
