i just typed up billy's written termination of his lease with the local trucking company - he is going back to southern freight in atlanta . . . which means billy & i will be moving! the only date i have confirmed right now is his start date with S.F. - feb. 11th. he will do as he did before - come home when he can between runs. and when i get my babies settled here in MS, then i will get the house on the market & sold & "whither thou goest, there go i" or whatever the quote is!

billy has not been happy at LMT - the local co. - the only good thing about them was more home time. he wants to go back to S.F. and i want him happy in his work, so--------------

i will be telling my boss tomorrow - so please pray for understanding, etc., etc.

we've got a few things to do to the house to make sure it is market ready. i expect to list with a realtor mid-may. billye lynne has been offered a job with the company she works for as manager of their greenwood store. emily is working on securing housing for her and wren thru the university - she only has a year of classes left, altho will probably have to go only part-time as she will have to work now as well - so please pray for all these things to fall into place. i spect they all will as i know that God is in control. and even tho i am leaving my babies behind, i feel the peace from God that this is His plan and only good comes to us when we align ourselves with His will.

yes, i am "scared" in a way, i've lived in MS - in batesville - since i was 8 years old . . . my babies will be here and i will be there - but we will come visit and often i am sure . . . i don't always deal well with change . . . but billy has been hinting at this for several weeks now and like i said, i feel a peace about it all . . .

on a good note, i do already have a friend there who lives in douglasville. i've been to visit laura several time over the years so it's not like a completely unknown location to me. so i am excited about being closer to her. when the time gets closer, we will be looking for something in the villa rica, bremen, etc., area.

oh yeah, we also have decisions to make on my mother's house - or at least my brother has to decide once and for all if he is going to buy out grace (our sister) & me or if he will move out and let us put it on the market as well . . .

whew - thanks for letting me say all this - it's becoming very real all of a sudden and i needed to "talk it out" amongst friends . . .

Oh Cindy! sounds like exciting news and scary all at the same time! I have always lived 5 miles or less from where I grew up my whole adult life..I can't even begin to imagine moving...Billy does need to be happy in his work...he is lucky to have such a loving and supportive wife!! Perhaps this will be a grand adventure for you...

I totally agree that we go where our husbands go but that is me not anyone else. I have always lived within 10miles of where I grew up and always in the same county but the town name changed when I married but still wintin 10 miles of where I lived before I married. Hubby has always lived within rock throwing distance of his home except for a few times we might of moved 5 or six miles away then always back to here in this community.

I hae been to the villa rica - bremen area and there bouts. Researched my moms relatives from near there.

jenell, the judge is already handing me guilt trips . . . i don't do quilt trips very well (and that goes for both giving and receiving! i don't believe i have ever tried to guilt anyone into doing anything - not even billy!) . . . *sigh* not that i blame him, it was my intentions to retire when he did in about 10 years . . . but God is in control here, not me . . .

Cindy, I wish you well with all youre ongoings. In a few month you will look back and think " wasn't to bad" And where ever you go, we are allway here.
