I hate putting more on everyone's lists, but I feel the need to share, and 2 of my men certainly need the prayers.
First is DH, Roy. He has had a history of depressive episodes, and at times over the years they have hit pretty hard. The last time was about 8 years ago. Well, yesterday he woke up in absolute despair. So bad he had to miss a day of work (which for him is unheard of). He's taking care of this problem, but it is scary for those of us who have to watch. Please pray for him.
Second is DS2, David. He is my baby - and always will be. As most of you know, DH and I had to move to CT (from MI) right after DS2 started college. (The company DH worked for laid everyone off.) Well, David has had the same GF since the 8th grade. They go to colleges about 8 hours apart and manage to see each other once or twice a month. David's GF is leaving today for a semester in China. I realize this doesn't sound like a big deal to most people, but David, like his dad, has had a history of depressive episodes, and I know that his GF has been a huge influence on his keeping an even keel. Please pray for him to rise up in these coming months and take care of himself. And please pray that our beautiful Katherine has a wonderful and safe experience in China.
Thanks friends Lizzie

Lizzie I am glad that you added them, we will all keep them in our thoughts and prayers, where else can you go if you can't find good friends like this to help hold you up during he rough times. God works through us this way to be a help and also for us to ask for help during our time of need so that His miracles and wonders can be seen in the world.
I have them on my list of prayers and you too, please try not to worry yourself because God is in control and this is a great group of ladies who will say a prayer for them also. Just remember they are in God's trusty hands and all will work for the good.
Happy Quilting! Bama Deb ~ Sweet Home AL I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.
Oh Lizzie depression is such a horrid ting to watch your loved ones endure. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to add them both to my prayers. Love, hugs, prayers and all the support I can muster coming your way

Lizzie, I'm so glad you posted this! Roy, DS, GF and you and the whole family (hers too) will be in my prayers nightly. Deb said it best - It's all in God's hands, just lean on Him. Big hugs to you, my friend!!

I wanted to take a minute to thank you all so much. DH is back on his meds, and while they haven't kicked in yet, I think the hope of their help is helping him to cope.
Despite bad weather in Chicago AND Beijing, Katherine arrived safely in China. She emailed me on Saturday and sounds excited, but scared at the same time. She is living with a local family while she attends the university and is very anxious about her ability to speak Chinese well enough to not make any blunders.
David (DS) is coping. OK sometimes but calls every once in awhile in a low mood. Actually, he seems to be doing better than I had hoped, so I truly appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.
Love to you all Lizzie
