You are just simply the BC Angel here, what would we do without you girlfriend! Here in our area we have angels who go out and lift someones spirits just to make them feel better and you always do this for me when I see you and your beautiful smile in chat you always encourage me when you are here, I love you for that.

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

May God bless you and heal you and hold you in His strong and loving arms as you go through your tests today, Deb, and as you wait for the results. May He heal you with His love. You are in His care and in our thoughts and prayers. May you know that you are loved,

Pat

Debo....Am a little late viewing this post, but know that I am praying for you too. Didn't know your health history until now. I can tell by reading all of your posts that you are an amazingly strong faithful woman.

Praying for God's healing, strength and mercy for you, and of course, good test results.

Deb, sending lots of prayers and good wishes to you. I'm sorry that I'm late sending this but I've been out of town without a computer for the past 4 days. You are such an inspiration with your courage and outlook on life. May God touch you with peace, comfort, and healing.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers they truly do mean a lot to me during this time of unrest and uncertainty.

My morning went something like this:
I was going for what I thought was just a routine X-Ray which actually meant a Cat Scan for today! To go through this was the most horrifying thing I had to do so far. My sleep meds didn;t work last night so I didn't sleep and I had to be up at 5am to be at the outpatient part of the hospital this morning which was an hour away from where I live~~~I am off to a fair start, so it seems, I am out the door by 6am...

First the receptionist at the oncologist had sent me to the wrong place today and I sit over there in outpatient for 30 minutes before I found that out;

then off to the right place only to learn I have to drink that horrible banana flavored barium stuff which meant another sitting for 30 minutes for that to work!!!

I am called back finally for the test now I find out I need a blood test to check my kidneys {{{a bad kidney test would mean ~ no dye!!!}}} so anyway now they draw blood & can inject dye into my viens ~~my vien blows the room feels like it is 40 degrees in there and they bring me a nice warm blanket to bundle me up in~the only good thing about being back there!!!

so now they are calling in the troops from another department to come restick me for the dye~~~which takes another 5-10 minutes because they are all busy today~~~I am still dumb to the fact that I am having a c~scan with contrast!!!

They proceed finally with the test as a taped female voice is instructing me to do this and that...

next thing I know there is a {real} mans voice coming over the speaker saying we are now going to do the contrast!!! HUH~Where did he come from there were females taking care of me!!! Oh God get me through this I begin praying it was bad enough I was freezing to death and being stuck like a fat'n pig, not this too?!!

Anyway I broke down and cied my eyes out after we got out of there, thankfully hubby went with me and was patient about my breakdown-he wasn't back there so he was clueless what all had gone on back there! I am usually a pillar of strength to do stuff but this was horrible today.

Through all this I am thankful those gals are there and that something can be done to help me with my problems.

I get the results Monday at the oncologist office and

I swung by and got an appointment for Monday to see my surgeon too! I want this out and done!

I am set for now I have been just a wreck all day long~~~don't know how I would of gotten through all this without the Lord and all of you praying for me~~~I have never been so nerveous in all my life as I have been this past year and a half!!!

Thank you all for being here for me it means a lot to a partly homebound person such as I, friends on a long term is hard for a disabled person who can't physcially keep up with the "normal" folk. Well enough excitement for one day I will let you all rest after reading all my fun so it is off to watch a bit of TV and try to get some sleep finally.

Blessings one and all,
Deb
