Deb- I saw this on the news last night and I immediately thought of you. I hope it brings a smile to your face. This is for real- there is a new procedure for breast re-construction where the surgeons harvest fat tissue from the patient's belly and use itto re-construct the breast. They are finding that too often in traditional re-construction there is a risk of rejection, and that even when there is no rejection, in nearly every case the patient will require further surgery to maintain the the re-construction. Providence Hospital here in Michigan has a team that does such re-constructions.

Just think of it, Deb, new boobs and a tummy tuck all at the same time! I told DH that if I ever was in that situation, with the fat on my belly, I could have boobs like Dolly Parton! I wonder if I could be a donor? Hmmmm.......

We are all praying for you here, girl. You have to do the hard part- keep up your morale! A positive attitude is half the battle and key to recovery, but you already know that. I am just giving you a pep talk. Love you- (((((HUGS))))))

Good thoughts for you as well Deb. I had a scan with the contrast dye...I felt exactly the same way...felt cold & sick to my stomach. I actually asked them if they were prepared for any allergic reaction from me since DH did not do well on the contrast himself. Guess the good thing is now I know I don't have any bad reaction, other than wanting to barf for a while, which thankfully passed, since I was on my stomach, and that would be really messy on their floor. Keep us posted on results and get as much rest as you possibly can. Know that we're all pulling for you!
