They all love the quilt {naturally} and a few of them have been pleasantly surprised to find that I wanted them to sign my quilt, but you know they are the best people many of them told me personally they were praying for me when I was going through my cancer pre and post surgeries back then so I hope this shows them just a bit how much they are appreciated for taking such good care of me then and now. You never know how precious life is until you are faced with life situations no matter how big or small life is precious.

Thank you all for making this possible for me to be able to carry it to have them sign it for me, I have only just begun but it is nice to see their reactions and smiles when I ask them to sign my quilt and how I get to tell them all about my wonderful friends all over the world who made the quilt for me.

Sleep well & may love shine on you all,
Deb

{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} ladies

I am home from seeing my surgeon and oncologist today and I am worn out but wanted to let you know about my progress.

The surgeon didn't put in a drainage tube when he did my surgery last week and it decided on it's own this past Monday to decide to release it'self on me full tilt!!! I soaked a tee shirt I was wearing and made me go back to a pad to absorb all the fluid that is now flowing like a water tap drip!!! ARG I called the docs office that day and told me I could help it to drain if I wanted to & as long as it wasn't infected to wait until my appointment today and he would take care of it for me. HE DID!!! He drew off a 1/4cup of fluid and left the stitches in until I go back on Monday I have to have more fluid drained off until it stops draining and heals up. It sure does feel much better with that drained off, this is the first time since he drained it that I can leave the bandage off and not get soaked!

I got tons of compliments about the quilt the patients there today loved it too! I wish you all could of been there to see their expressions when I ask each of them to sign it for me they were so thrilled and even thanked me for letting them sign it.

Ladies this is something next time we all make a quilt for someone to consider doing for them it is so exciting and to go through health issues it would give the patient something to brighten their day, I have all of your names on the back and then the care givers are signing it so it does have a double imapact. Thank you all again beacuse thiss one just keeps giving and giving. Ps I am posting this over to the quilt my site too. I am filled with joy because of you all.

Love and hugs all

Ladies
Hi I have finally gotten the green light to go back to sewing got my stitches out today and this has been the most misery for the last 2 weeks I don't know what is wrong it isn't the stitches but I have just felt like the pits this last go around! I see my oncologist in May and my surgeon & RA doc again in July so maybe I am headed back up stream finally.

Thank you all once again for all your thoughts and prayers don't know how I would of survived without them and you to get me through this go around. Love and hugs

Deb

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

Deb, that sounds like great news! If you don't have to go back until sometime in May, the lumps couldn't have been too serious. I think you were just down because of the fear of reoccurance, hon. I'm so glad your stitches are out, and you can sew again. It's good to have something to take your mind of things once in a while. and good to hear hubby is doing better. You and yours are still in my prayers daily! Love and hugs to you!! ((((((((( ))))))))
