This is my nephew Joey. He left early yesterday morning along with 2600 other Oklahomans to go to Ft Bliss Texas. 4000 are actually going from Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. They will be leaving probably within the week for Iraq. (classified info)
So I would appreciate the prayers you ladies can send up for this young man and his company. They are infantry and will be gone up to 15 months.

My prayers are going out for Joey and all our troops. On the same subject, just a couple days ago a large group from my area left for more training, then will be shipped to Iraq. Among this group are 3 brothers from a family we know well - one was a childhood friend of my son. I can't imagine having ONE child in the war, let alone all THREE sons!

what a handsome young man. I admire him, and all the others whom are fighting for our Country. Prayers said daily for this brave man, and all the troops.

Keeping Joey, his unit, and their families in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, Nola, all 3 three in the same unit! I would have thought that the Sullivan clause would have prohibited that.

DS'2 friend, Mitch, who left for Korea just before Christmas may be re-deployed to Iraq soon. We are praying that they decide to keep him in Korea.
