Bright, prayers will continue from my end, hon! Chin up - you have seen how God helps you, He'll continue.

Hugs to you and yours! This, too, shall end!

Well, it is official: we are proceeding to trial some time next year. The other side will not consider a settlement because they have no money to settle with. The Attorney General is investigating and we are stuck in status quo. Our
half remodelled, half finished house sits as is because now it has become evidence.

I think I must be getting used to it. I don't cry as much as before and I am getting used to living without carpet and doors and closets....I never knew how much I had until I did'nt have it anymore.

God has a plan here. I continue to pray for justice and strength, because there still are bad bad days where I feel so hurt and angry and scared I can't function, but mostly I am resigned to the situation. I pinch a lot of pennies because lawsuits cost a lot.

Keep praying for us. The prayers must be helping.

Bright.

Still dragging on through the court system. Money has gotten tighter, but on a brighter note, since I don't have money to buy any new quilting stuff, all my UFO's are getting finished. Clap

Court orders are in place for the other side to turn in their financial/banking records so we should finally find out where our money went. I know of 4 other cases now besides ours. This guy is in really deep.

When the kids start school in 2 weeks, I will be looking for work. I will take a minimum wage job until I can get something better. I have met two wonderful women this summer who ended up in financial situations similar to mine but for different reasons. They have been really encouraging about the employment issues and have done a lot to convince me that I have more to offer than my sketchy resume shows. I have no doubt God put these women in my path to encourage me. They are making it; I will too.

Anyway, keep praying for my family. I hope to be able to post that this thing is over and behind us someday.....soon.

Bright ... {{{{hugs}}}} ... I pray for a favorable resolution to your case ... the evidence is certainly stacked against this disreputable contractor ... it is unfortunate that his lawyers seem to be able to drag it out in the court system ...

may you find a good job at a good wage and have a much brighter future ...

Pat
