My best friend from high school has just suffered a miscarriage with her first pregnancy. I'm not exactly sure how far along she was, but I believe she was still in the first trimester. So please keep her in your prayers that God will provide her strength and healing.

Thank you!

When I hear stories like this I am always reminded of a storybook I had as a child called The Littlest Angel. It was about a little boy who died and went to heaven and how angry he was and all the mischief he got into. As the story progresses St. Peter reveals that he is perform some task that God has choosen him to do. He is angry about this and just wants to go back to earth. In the end it is revealed that he was choosen for all the reasons he has gotten into trouble for. He is commanded to come before the Lord and show Him his box of treasures: a shiny stone, a bit of broken pottery, a slingshot, a dead butterfly, and so on. He ends up being sent back to Earth to be the Baby Jesus' guardian angel and to show him how to be a little boy and do little boy things. I have always believed that when innocents are called back it is because the angels have some important task for them to do.

Thank you Meg. I have that same sweet story. My friend is very strong, but I know that her heart is torn.

I will lift your friend up in my prayers. I know what it is like to lose a little one. I lost two through miscarriages.

Meg, I have never heard that story before. Brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for the beautiful story.
