Hi,
Sorry I have not been around, it has been a whirlwind around here. My mom was unable to come home we had to move her to a skilled care facility. I spend my days and evenings there making sure she is well taken care of. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. I have learned a lot about our health care system. Not all is postive, my heart goes out to the elderly who don't have anyone to watch over them. I have taken several under my wing. Jody |

Oh Jody I'm sorry your Mom couldn't come home. I knew exactly where you are coming from when you talk about the elderly in Nursing Homes. When my Mother was there it was heartbreaking. I just don't understand families that forget their elderly and it's easy to take a few under you wing.

Jody, I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has been unable to get back on her own again. It is such a difficult time for families when this happens.
I took care of my own Mother through a few years of declining health (her mind was mostly as sharp as ever) until at last I just could not give her all the care she needed on my own and we had to find a care facility for her. The running back and forth to visit her and make sure she had all she needs can be so physically and mentally draining. I will keep you, your Mom and your family in my thoughts and prayers. May He give you the strength and comfort you need at this time and may your Mom feel His loving and healing presence. Jody, my prayers continue daily - I am sorry to hear she couldn't come home, but at least you can be with her. And bless you for taking a few more under your wing. Hugs!!
