I new here, but am going to attempt to bring over a quilting group from our old boards. When they revamped the NHGC boards they completely crashed them.

I think this forum is a mucho better place for us anyhow...since we are all quilt nuts!

Welcome Highmtn! Shall we assume you live in the Rockies? I really love the Dave Barry quote. Very appropriate. Just yesterday I had my taxes done, the CPA asked me about winnings from gambling or lottery tickets. I laughed and told him not to look at me- my only vice is quilting! He must have a quilter in the family- he was amused.

they are just faces that show feeling, there isn't really a set word behind their meaning either way they all mean happy. just different ways of expressing it.

Now, Miss Tassels. I thought I was a card carrying 'ole fogey' here and I understood what she was saying. Oh, no! I am suffering an 'ole fogey' identity crisis here. Wait a minute ... card carrying 'old fogeys' are not permitted to have an identity crisis. If I do someone will think I am 'getting senile' and might try to put me away somewhere. Okay. I'm gonna be alright. Just take deep breaths, Pat. :::wheezes::: Okay, maybe not. Try something else ... looks in mirror ... ah ...better not go there ... checks SS card. Whew! Yep, I still have my card. Must mean I am okay.

Ok...I'm going to confuse the heck out of everyone and I changed my sign on name...lol I used to be up in the ID mountains, but now I'm at sea level...and I mean... SEA LEVEL.. lol I decided I needed to use my garden club sign on as my quilting buddies will never locate me with my older sign ons...lol Confusing! That's what I get for registering in a hurry!

Thanks for the "welcome". I'll spend a few days sniffing around then I'll post some photos of my projects.

Felicia, could you hold off on the photos for a little while. March 10th we are going to be housecleaning because we have used too much space and photos are one of the reasons! We love them is the problem. But after we clean up there will be directions on how to show your photos.

Not a problem Betty! I’ll happily wait! This board format is VERY familiar to me! I know about photo bucket, and putting photos right into posts unless that's a no-no in here? Anyhow... I have a lot to look at before I get to crazy...not to mention we are just finishing up my sewing room! I finally get to move out of the kitchen...and into my own room. I reclaimed the guest room...and it’s small, but going to be so much better! We have company about twice a year...but I’m constantly putzing on something. The fabric won!!

Links to photos and anything else you want to share is allowed. Photos are too but right now we need to clear out first. Kim is wanting to give everyone a chance to save photos and posts etc before we begin the "spring clean". lol
